Second, my husband and I stopped at the Lobby Bar on Saturday evening before a black tie wedding. But the room was large, and the bed was comfortable. Not a great way to convince anyone to maintain brand loyalty. Roof/HVAC equipment view off the back of the building with peeling paint, dirty baseboards, and missing/broken tiles.
But now that I’ve indulged my sentiment, I won’t stay again unless this place steps up its game.įirst, I stayed on points, and so I was clearly given a points room. It was the nicest place I’d ever seen! So when I had a wedding in Cleveland this weekend, I chose to stay here despite knowing there are many newer, trendier properties in the vicinity. I stayed because of sentimental attachment to this place in the ‘90s as a teenager visiting Cleveland and attending games at the new Gateway Complex. The “nice but dated” vibe here makes me sad.
