Rewards: One thing that I liked was the Total Rewards check in process. This makes no sense, but has been covered in other threads, so I won't repeat. The main desk also faces away from the poker room. However, when I went back to the high limit area, there was only one name on the list they keep by pencil, and I was ushered to a seat immediately. For example, the 5/10NL list at the electronic main poker desk had 7 names on it. Pagers: To my pleasant surprise, the desk offers pagers, which is very very nice if the list gets long.ĭesk: There are massive communication problems between the high limit poker desk and the main poker desk. I would say that it was more certainly more active than I usually see the Borgata during non-tournament times, tho the room is somewhat smaller. There were 3 full 5/10NL tables going on a Thursday night, and more on Friday.
My home is normally Borgata in AC, with forays out to the SF Bay area (Lucky Chances, Bay101), Kentucky (Horseshoe Southern Indiana), and the rare vacations in Vegas and LA (Bellagio, Bike, etc.) My normal game is 5/10NL.Īction: My first impression is that this is a pretty big, active poker room. Went to Horseshoe Hammond a couple of nights last weeks while I was visiting Chicago, and thought I would post some general impressions of the room.
